Having entered the world of gastronomy at the tender age of 16, Rachid Benboudy worked with renowned Michelin-starred chefs in London, Paris, Lausanne and Las Vegas, including Joël Robuchon and Alain Ducasse, who helped fine-tune his desire for excellence. Indeed, his experiences in these prestigious establishments have since informed his ability to meet the highest of quality requirements.
An entrepreneurial flair
Armed with this culinary expertise,Rachid Benboudy then added a further string to his bow by specialising in management during a training course at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. In 2013, aged 30 and freshly back from the United States, Rachid Benboudy embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure by setting up his company Bijoux Catering for private jets. It was a small company that would quickly spread its wings thanks to the determination of its founder, his ability to manage and plan large-scale operations, and his drive to go ever further.
A businessman through and through, Rachid Benboudy is now exploring new avenues to grow the start-up and establish the company's reputation in the airline sector, both in commercial and private aviation, with the help of his skilled, proactive and high-performing workforce.
An entrepreneurial flair that has enabled Bijoux Catering to establish its current reputation, adapt to urgent, unforeseen circumstances, secure investment funds and respond to invitations to tender in the aviation sector.
Officially registered as a company in 2016, Bijoux Catering has steadily increased its turnover, demonstrating profitable growth despite the many challenges posed by COVID.
In just six years, the start-up has developed a successful business strategy with the creation of restaurants and outlets in various cities, as well as the promotion of fund-raising and networking opportunities.
